Heavyweight Cotton. Quarter Zip.

The Quarter Zip Series IX is a heavyweight everyday layer in 370 GSM three-thread cotton-polyester fleece (65% cotton, 35% polyester), the same fabric as our Crew Neck Sweatshirt Series IX. The inside is brushed, so it feels soft and holds warmth close to the body.

A tall ribbed stand collar with a quarter-length zip lets you close it up against the wind or open it as you warm up. Raglan sleeves give easy shoulder movement, and two side pockets keep your hands warm. Wear it on its own, or pair it with the Track Pant Series IX in the same fabric and colour for a matching tracksuit.

Key Features

370 GSM Three-Thread Fleece

Purpose: Thin fleece loses warmth quickly on cold mornings and evenings.
Benefit: Three-thread construction gives a dense, substantial fabric. Cotton keeps it soft, and polyester helps it hold its shape wash after wash.

Brushed Inner Face

Purpose: A smooth inner face feels cool against the skin and holds little warm air.
Benefit: Brushing lifts the fibres inside the fabric, so it feels softer and traps more warmth.

Quarter Zip with Ribbed Stand Collar

Purpose: A fixed neckline can't adjust as the temperature changes.
Benefit: Zip it up for a snug, wind-blocking collar, or open it to cool down. The contrast zip tape adds a clean detail.

Raglan Sleeves

Purpose: Set-in sleeves can restrict the shoulders when you reach or lift.
Benefit: Raglan seams run from the collar to the underarm, giving freedom of movement and a smooth shoulder line.

Side Pockets

Purpose: A pullover with no pockets leaves cold hands nowhere to go.
Benefit: Two side pockets keep hands warm and hold small essentials.

Ribbed Cuffs and Bottom

Purpose: Loose openings let warm air escape.
Benefit: Ribbed cuffs and rib across the back and sides of the bottom keep the fit neat, with a hemmed front for a sharper finish.

Below 0°C • Freezing Weather

Layer over a thermal and under an insulated, windproof jacket. Not a stand-alone layer at this temperature.
